Changes coming this year to Providence Bridge Pedal

Registration Caps

Reluctantly we have decided to impose a limit on the number of Providence Bridge Pedal participants this year. This is being done to maximize the enjoyment of all the riders and walkers, to minimize the risk of accidents and to assure everybody can finish the ride within the prescribed time limits. Registration caps:
Fremont Express 1,500
10-Bridge Ride 5,000
8-Bridge Ride 5,000
6-Bridge Ride 5,000
Kids Pedal 1,000
Bridge Stride 1,000
Registration for an individual event will close when the limit for that event is reached.

Team Registration

Forming a team requires a minimum of four adults. Each member receives a $7 discount off the ADULT registration rate for the 10-Bridge, 8-Bridge or 6-Bridge ride. [There is no team discount for the Fremont Express or the Stride.]

You create the team online and must register a minimum of four persons at that time. Others can then join your team and enjoy the same saving. Team members DO NOT all have to register for the same ride.

To form a larger team–10 or more persons–contact us at and you will receive an even larger discount.

Fremont Express Start

Join us on the Fremont Bridge to watch the sunrise on Providence Bridge Pedal Sunday. A limited number of bicyclists will be able to come up on the Fremont as early as 6 a.m. to enjoy coffee, juice, breakfast rolls and great views of Portland, the Willamette River and the Cascades. The Fremont Express ride starts at 6:45 a.m. Bicyclists leave the bridge, biking through downtown Portland on I-405, to complete the 36 mile route ahead of other Providence Bridge Pedal participants.

Expo / Finish Line / The Bite of Oregon

Our finish line is moving back downtown to SW Naito Parkway, where the fun does not end once you cross the finish line. After the ride, you will receive free admission to The Bite of Oregon, Portland’s premier food and music festival. Valet and self service bike parking will be available.

This year the popular Providence Bridge Pedal Health and Wellness Expo will be held at JELD-WEN Field on Saturday, August 10th, the day before the ride.
