Saturday, 03/01/2014
9:00am – 2:00pm

We will not meet at the park, but at Buxton Trailhead. Address: 24600 NW Bacona Rd, Buxton. Its a ~2 mile pedal up the Banks-Vernonia trail. The worksites will be close to the trailhead, so knobby tires and clipless pedals are not necessary unless you plan to ride after. If riding after, note that the Buxton TRAILHEAD CLOSES AT SUNDOWN and the GATES WILL BE LOCKED, so you need to be back at your car before closing time. Closing time changes depending on length of daylight and will be posted on the informational kiosk in the parking lot.

We do work rain or shine, but will cancel if conditions are dangerous. Check back here for updates the day before.

What is provided: Tools, instruction, safety briefing, and donuts.

What you need to bring: mountain bike, helmet, work gloves, water, food, weather appropriate clothing- rain gear recommended, pants and shoes for dirt work.

Questions, comments, or trouble signing up? email me: robc@nw-trail.org

Trail build parties will continue the first Saturday of each month from November through June. Impromptu trail work happens often on weekends, email me if you would like to come out more frequently or become more involved.
