Portland Parks & Recreation is hosting it’s third annual Youth Mountain Bike Camp July 15 – 18, 2014!
The co-ed camp will help develop the skills and build the confidence for riders to safely shred including bike handling, climbing & descending, and braking & cornering. Riders will also learn trail ethics and parks ecology and will have an opportunity to participate in a service project. The camp will travel to four unique locations: Ventura Park Pump Track, Powell Butte Nature Park, Cascade Locks Trail System and Sandy Ridge Trail System.
Beginners are welcome and encouraged! Riders may bring their own bike, or loaner bikes will be made available. Helmets are required and will be avialable to borrow as well.
The 2014 Youth Mountain Bike Camp is brought to you in partnership with The Dirt Dojo, Northwest Trail Alliance, BTA and PBOT. Sponsored by Portland Design Works.
