NW Trail Alliance (NWTA) will be sending crews throughout the Sandy Ridge Trail System to do tread repair and making new trail improvements.
To accomplish all the work needed, we need 80 to 100 volunteers.
This will be our SINGLE LARGEST trail project for the Fall season and our efforts will be enhanced with the support of the BLM, IMBA Trail Solutions and multiple event sponsors.
RSVP now!!! so we can properly prepare and plan for the days activities (tools, equipment, food, and so on).
Our Goal is to send 10 teams of 8 people to multiple project sites. In a single day we will be working on miles of trail and we need your help to accomplish everything that needs to be done.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
8:45 AM – Meet at SRT parking lot
9:00 AM – Introduction and divide into teams
9:15 AM – Travel to various project sites
2:00 PM – Report back to SRT parking Lot
Following the trail work, volunteers will have an opportunity to get a shuttle to the top for a ride or stay for BBQ with fellow NW Trail Alliance members. And…. there will be a raffle of donated swag for the people who volunteer.
Please RSVP by emailing Ted Dodd at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you enjoy riding Sandy Ridge Trail, now is your chance to volunteer and help make SRT even better.
