Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, a free event open to all, is a fun way for the next generation of mountain bikers to develop their riding skills.
We are partnering with Metro and is hosted at Portland’s Ventura Park for easy access. We have three courses are available to suit kids from striders to teens:
• The NWTA-built pump track
• Lumberyard skills course with various technical features
• A “kiddie-cross” course through the park for the young riders

Saturday, October 1 – 3:30-6:30pm (Early check-in: 3:00pm)

We estimate 30-50 volunteers will be needed. Volunteers are needed to help with event set up and tear down, spotting buddies on skills course, XC course helpers, pump track helpers, registration, food tent and more.
