Hood River Area Trail Stewards: FAFM, Parking Passes, and Trailhead Safety

This week we’re wrapping up our spring newsletter campaign with a few reminders.

Families at Family Man
Families at Family Man is back! This fun series runs every Thursday through July 28. Meet up at the Family Man Staging Area at 6:00 p.m. for free cheese pizza, raffle prizes, kids’ shirts (adult shirts available for purchase), and activities. This free community event is sponsored by local businesses invested in building the local mountain biking community and supporting young shredders. (We strive to keep FAFM as waste free as possible, so please bring your own tableware and water bottles.)

Parking Passes
Please remember to purchase your annual parking pass for Post Canyon. The cost is $5 per day or $30 per year and the money goes to maintain, develop, and manage the Hood River County Forest recreation and trails. Go here for details and to buy a pass.

Trailhead Safety
With summer just around the corner, our trails will see an increase in use—including among small humans, dogs, and horses. Please slow down on Post Canyon Road for everyone’s safety. And remember to share the trails with a smile!
